As we begin a new school year, we also begin with a request for parent and community donations.  Why do we need donations for our music program?  Donations gives the music program the opportunity to do many things.  We have in the past been able to purchase new music, instruments, choral risers, music supplies, microphones, markerboards, instrument repairs, music festival fees etc., etc.  Without donations, we would be in without many of the things that a music program needs to function.

Because of the addition of new classes, there are several needs of the music department.  These include several new instruments (Baritone Saxophone, French Horns, Euphoniums, etc.) and sheet music for the new ensembles.

In the past, we have received donations from music student parents and the community.  This income has been most welcomed.  This year, we would like to encourage each instrumental music family to donate $35.00 to the Hopkins Band to help with the above expenses.  If you can give more, our band program could certainly use it!
